The Rooftop Guide was founded in 2015. The lack of a complete and transparent guide to the world's best rooftop bars brought the idea, which is now the world's largest and leading website and guide about rooftop venues.

With our help, we want anyone, anywhere to be able to find the perfect rooftop experience. Thanks to our unique focus, extensive experience, and connections with rooftop venues, we are proud to have the trust of millions of visitors each year.

While the primary goal is to present the best rooftop options for where you are, or where you are going, we also try to work as an inspiration to help you find that next dream destination.

The team

The Rooftop Guide is run by co-founders Hans Ebenman and Rikard Fredricson, who both now have more than ten years as rooftop experts, and have visited over 1 200 rooftop venues worldwide.

Combined with our own unique experiences and visits, we also work closely with thousands of rooftops, selected content creators and local reviewers.
