Located on top of Eataly at the Century City Westfield Mall, Terra is a rooftop bar, restaurant and lounge, bringing a large slice of the Italian countryside to Los Angeles.
Food & Drinks:
Terra serves refreshing botanical cocktails, premium Italian wines, crafted brews and Italian flavours daily, including a lovely weekend rooftop brunch. Called 'Brunch all’Italiana', the weekend brunch menu features late-morning classics with an Italian twist. Made with fresh, local and Italian ingredients and prepared over an open-flame, here you can enjoy an á la carte menu with everything from Prosciutto Cotto Benedict to Crostone di Avocado, as well as plenty of the breakfast classics. Like any real brunch, the food is complemented with a menu of classic brunch cocktails, botanical gin & tonics, and regional Italian wine to pair with the most imprtant meal of the day.
What we think:
The bright rooftop terrace offers panoramic views over the Hollywood Hills, and with a friendly and relaxing it is a great LA rooftop restaurant for both a sunny lunch and a romantic evening. Eataly can be found at several US cities, and is also home to several restaurants. But the lush and charming Terra rooftop restaurant might very well be the best of them all.

Tucked away above the Hollywood Hills, Yamashiro translates to 'mountain palace' in Japanese, which is truly a literal description of this historic and beautiful hilltop mansion, first built in 1914.
Food & Drinks:
Mainly know as a venue for elevated evenings filled with contemporary Japanese cuisine, Yamashiro Hollywood also invites to a special Sunday brunch. Given the setting, it should come as no surprise that the brunch menu features both rice dishes and sushi, with plenty of tempting rolls. But, there is also a selection of more 'regular' brunch items, like 'Egg Salad Sandwich', 'Lemon Ricotta Pancakes', 'Avocado Toast' and 'Croque Madam'.
What we think:
A Sunday at Yamashiro is the perfect way to elevate your weekend. Among lush greenery, Japanese-inspired decor, and antique artifacts, here you are surrounded with sparkling and amazing views over LA, stretching from the Griffith Observatory to the Pacific Ocean.
Dress code:
The Yamashiro Hollywood dress code is smart casual. Avoid athletic attire, beach attire and flip flops.

From 11pm to 5pm you can munch on a brunch selection of Southern Californian cuisine, mixing the classics with the creative twists. The menu features shared plates like 'Avocado Toast' and 'Burrata', salads, entrees ranging from 'Videre Pancakes' to 'Crab Benedict', and a fresh selection of bagels, croissant and pastry. To go with the dishes you find plenty of refreshing drinks, from punch and craft cocktails to lighter lemonades.
What we think:
One of our favorite brunch spots in the world. Set a few blocks from Beverly Hills, the urban and lush rooftop blends dining cabanas, tables and high tops with a sparkling rooftop pool, complemented with breathtaking views of the Hollywood hills and the LA skyline. Open daily from breakfast to late dinner, Videre is a rooftop oasis for any occasion, including a vibrant weekend brunch.

With a stylish and lux setting, this is a great LA brunch spot to celebrate a special occasion or to really impress a date. The Rooftop Beverly Hills offers one of the largest terraces in LA. And not at all only about size, it also serves a beautiful garden setting and some amazing views over Beverly Hills and Hollywood.

Food & Drinks:
Here you can enjoy regional wines, craft cocktails and a market-driven menu inspired by coastal Mediterranean cuisine, with plenty of vegan options. Serving dinner daily, Margot also offers a lunch/brunch menu from Wednesday to Saturday. Or rather two menu's, as the 'regular' one is complemented with a vegan one. The brunch menu comes with small plates, like marinated olives, tomato bisque and citrus & endive salad, an larger options, like porchetta benedict, black truffle soft scramble, oatmeal pancakes and avocado toast.

Charmingly elegant, Margot is a popular venue, and for a weekend rooftop brunch reservations are recommended.

To go with all the food, there are glasses and bottles of bubbles, seasonal fruit sangria, Bellini, Mimosa and plenty of other refreshing drinks, and usually also Brunch Live Music creating a lovely atmosphere.
What we think:
For us, this is the best rooftop restaurant in Downtown LA. Offering magical views of downtown LA, as well as a relaxing atmosphere and delicious French-inspired food, Perch is an ideal choice for those looking to enjoy a filling brunch, dinner and refreshing drinks with a view.

With its signature open kitchen and breathtaking views of downtown Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills, CATCH is one of the best rooftops in California when speaking of food, service and atmoshpere.
