Marrakech is not a cosmopolitan city with loads of high rise buildings. Instead there is more of a labyrinth of rather small houses. This do of course mean a lack of real sky high rooftop bars, but what the city lacks in height, it makes up for in numbers. With a climate that is very outdoor friendly year round (if it doesn't get to hot in the summer), Marrakech offers lots of lovely rooftop terraces and bars at around 3-4th floor level. And since there are no skyscrapers blocking the views, many of the rooftop bars also offers fabolous vistas, all the way to the Atlas Mountains.
Marrakech is the fourth largest city in Morocco. Founded already in the 11th century, the city is truly a classic. Famous for its souks (markets), city walls and gardens, this is a very vibrant city.
