On top of the The George Hotel you find a soft and stylish cocktail lounge and rooftop bar, that used to be called The Campari Lounge, but has now changed into The George Rooftop.
From the roof terrace you get a superb panoramic view of Hamburg and its skyline, and more so, a lovely view of the sailboats passing by on Lake Alster. If you pinpoint a sunset, you are sure to be in for a real treat.
Open during the warmer months and when the weather is fine, the rooftop has a classic lounge setting, with lots of comfy sofas and a sleek bar. From the bar you can order champagne, wine, refreshing spritzers and a nice selection of cocktails. There is also a couple of bar bites to choose from, like pizza and cheeseburger.
The no-reservation George Rooftop is pretty much the perfect Hamburg rooftop bar to just sit back and relax with a loved one or some friends, watch the sun set over Lake Alster and chat the night away.
