Overview
In short:
Set on the banks of the Yarra River, the iconic Crowne Plaza Melbourne has been a central part of the Melbourne hospitality scene for three decades.
What we say:
A hotel filled with history, but late 2020 the hotel entered a ‘New Modern’ era, when a complete and extensive transformation was unveiled. And we've been lucky enough to experience it first hand. The rufurbishment showcases a suite of brand new guest facilities, including a beautiful rooftop swimming pool with designer sun lounges. While technically not on the rooftop of the hotel, but rather above a cupola in the middle, this is still one of the most beautiful in Melbourne for an elevated swim.
Our insider tip
- Try to grab one of the cabanas for the ultimate experience. It might mean getting up early in the morning.
