Located on the hills outside of Zurich, Sonnenberg is an amazing fine-dining restauarant and rooftop bar with one of the best views in all of Zurich. From the restaurant terrace you can look out over the city's rooftops, the Alps and the lake. Absolutely magical.

And happily enough, the food holds the same quality as the view. In other words, fantastic. Enjoy modern, exalted brasserie-dishes with influences from both Switzerland and all of Europe, complemented with an extensive wine list.

While the indoor restaurant is open year round, it comes with great additions each half of the year. During the warmer months the second floor terrace opens up for great food and views, al-fresco style. Then in winter, the new and really cool Panorama Gallery, which is sort of an all glass tube, means warm and cosy dinners with panoramic views and an outside-feel.

Harmonious and romantic in atmosphere, Sonnenberg is a great place among rooftop bars in Zurich to take your date to, if you want to impress. Popular spot, so you might want to book early to be guaranteed a place for dinner. Otherwise, just go up the hills for a drink and enjoy the absolute amazing views.
