Event venue with a dual set of lovely rooftop terraces.

Located in Kemptthal, between Zurich and Winterthur, the SILO Rooftop Bar, Events and Gallery is a unique venue, made for special moments.

Opened during 2020, SILO is set in the middle of a historical industrial site, and covers several floors of what was the first silo built by Julius Maggi in 1937. In just 5 months of careful reconstruction, it has been turned into a beautiful fusion of modern design and historical industrial architecture by the interior designer and architect Rainer Quenzer.

Equipped with both a stylish indoor lounge and bar area, SILO also comes with two spacious outdoor terraces: the 5th floor SILO Event Terrace for up to 200 guests and the 7th floor SILO Bar Terrace for up to 50 persons. Equipped with comfy lounge sofas, bar stools, greenery and awnings, here you get some fantastic views over the old Maggi area and the surrounding countryside. A place to be and to chill.

SILO is mainly a fantastic event venue, offering a stylish ambience for any private or business happening. With several versatile rooms and areas, this can be anything from an aperitif or a team dinner, to a rooftop birthday party or vernissage till a wedding party.

Every Thursday, the rooftop bar and terrace is also available to the public. You can visit the 'After Work Lounge' from 5pm, which from November also includes the best fondue from the region. Taste it!
