The top floor cherry-in-the-cake of the happening Hyde Park House is an orange and pink rooftop oasis, offering fantastic views over the close by Hyde Park, as well as uninterrupted vistas of the CBD skyline.

Make your way past the ground floor Public Bar, second floor Jessies Cocktail and third floor Club Lounge, and you find Slims Rooftop, filled with tropical greenery and a mix of low and high tables and picnic-style benches.

Open daily for lunch, dinner and drinks in between, the rooftop menu serves Asian fusion izakaya-style dishes made to share, along with some more filling mains, like Poke Bowls and burgers.

Complementing the food, drinks come as both creative signature and classic cocktails, as well as a slim but fine selection of wine, champagne and beer on tap.

Usually covered with sunshine, Slims Rooftop is a great spot for a sunny lunch, which then continues into afternoon drinks and a full night of fun. Reservations are usually only possible for lunch, and otherwise the rooftop works on a first-come, first-served basis. So for weekend visits, try to be in good time.
