Icebergs Dining Room and Bar is a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant in Bondi, Sydney, with an amazing view over the Pacific Ocean. The name actually only tells 2/3 of the story, as apart from dining room and bar, Icebergs also comes with a lovely summer rooftop terrace.

A bit divided, the indoor dining room is a very stylish Italian fine dining restaurant, open year round and with floor-to-ceiling windows offering great views over the ocean. Adjacent to the dining room is the equally stylish and relaxing indoor bar, also open year round and combining handcrafted food, drinks and music.

Then there is the wooden decked and recently refurbished rooftop terrace, more casual in style with picnic benches and large umbrellas, and open when the weather permits.

Though quite simple in decor, the Icebergs rooftop terrace is lifted by the very dramatic view over the Pacific Ocean, Bondi Beach and the Icebergs Club swimming pool below. With a smaller terrace menu, including a selection of pasta and burgers and a few beers, cocktails and wines, the rooftop is a perfect spot for some very relaxing hours in the sun.

While reservations are needed for lunch or dinner at the Icebergs Dining Room, the rooftop terrace works on a first come, first served basis. So on a sunny day, make sure to be in good time to catch a spot on the terrace.
