Overview
1-Altitude is the highest rooftop bar in Singapore, and also the highest al fresco bar in the world. Situated on the 63rd floor of One Raffles Place, up here you get truly spectacular 360-degree views of the entire city and out over the ocean.
1-Altitude is actually a multi destination, holding the top three floors of the building. On level 61 you find the chic and hot nightclub Altimate, and on level 62 the fine dining Australian restaurant Stellar. The al fresco and rooftop bar up on level 63 goes under the name Gallery & Bar.
The "gallery" part of the name is beacuase daytime (until 5pm) the 1-Altitude rooftop is a viewing gallery. Pay a fee of $25 and you can casually walk around and enjoy the fantastic views of Singapore, however without any bar to order from.
That truly changes at night, when the rooftop is a buzzing place, with alot of people, a great atmosphere and usually a live DJ or band.
The rooftop bar serves a wide selection of drinks, like champagne cocktails, japanese whiskey, martinis, party bombs, you name it. There is also a selection of light bites, sharing platters and a pizza bar.
To get a seat in one of the lounge sofas you should come early for 'Sundown Affair' and enjoy sunset and a more chilled vibe.
Later on, reservations are likely needed for a seat, or you just find a place in the bar or anywhere by the edge end enjoy the panoramic views. Or maybe even hit the dancefloor and dance the night away, closer to the stars than on a regular night.
