Overview
Unique rooftop experience inside the Marsala Saltpans in Trapani, with incredible sunset views.
Mamma Caura is an exclusive panoramic restaurant and rooftop bar with a view of salt pans and windmills, arranged over several levels. On the ground floor, the panoramic terrace on the canal edge is possible to book for lunch, dinner and even an aperitif. The menu includes typical dishes of Sicilian and Brazilian gastronomy (a component of the property is Brazilian), Sicilian wines, a selection of Champagne and tailor-made cocktails with Marsala as the protagonist.
On the first floor, the elegant pink restaurant is available all year round and inside it is possible to see the permanent photographic exhibition of Sicily in 1900, a real enchantment.
On the second floor you find the Mamma Caura Rooftop, dressed with elegant bamboo furniture and furnished with unique Sicilian ceramics. Here you can relax from above with a breathtaking view of the historic Phoenician area with the Island of Mothia in front, an important sea salt production area. The colors during sunset are stunning, a romantic setting and of rare beauty.
Music is a characteristic of the Mamma Caura rooftop. Inside the venue you will mainly listen to the ManHouse® genre, a fusion between Afro House rhythms, Brazilian Music, ethnic and soulfoul sounds, all coordinated by the artistic director Valerio Cardone. On weekends from June to September there are DJ sets at sunset that enchant those who come to visit.
For those wishing to visit the salt pans and try one of the salt & tourism activities/experiences can be booked online directly from the site www.seisaline.it.
