Cannonball, San Diego's largest oceanfront rooftop, is a fantastic place, especially if you are a fan of great sushi and panoramic ocean views.

Located right on Mission Beach, the rooftop terrace might only be two floors up, but it still offers one of San Diegos best ocean views, with breathtaking panoramas over the Pacific. Needless to say, the sunsets from here are absolutely magical.

Spacious, and with a modern, bright and trendy decor, the Cannonball rooftop offers lots of different seatings, from regular dining tables to cosy lounge areas with fire-pits. There are also heaters for those extra chilly nights.

Casual, relaxing and fun in vibe, this rooftop almost feels like a beach club and some evenings (usually Thursday's) local live bands play during the 'Acoustic Sunsets', which creates a super nice atmosphere.

Open for both lunch and dinner, the rooftop bar offers cold beers, seasonally inspired beach craft cocktails and plenty of wines, along with California cuisine and fantastic sushi. So fantastic that it was branded 'Best Sushi in San Diego' from 2018-2021.
