Sanchos may not be the highest or most spectacular rooftop in the world (or even in San Antonio), but it is the city's only authentic 'cantina y cocina'. And it comes with a lovely, open-air rooftop deck that offers fine views over the surroundings and the city skyline.
Sanchos is a place for great food, great drinks and great vibes. Located in the outskirt of downtown San Antonio, the 'cocina' offers a tasty set of creative Mexican and South American food, all made from scratch by Chef Sean Villarreal.
From the rooftop bar you can order 100% agave tequilas, Mexican cervezas and original cocktails (including a very tasty Margarita).
While there is seating inside, you should of course hope for fine weather and grab a spot at one of the picnic benches up on the roof. Apart from great food and drinks you can also enjoy a friendly and vibrant atmosphere, live music almost every night and sports on the rooftop flatscreen TVs.
Popular place among the locals, and reservations only available for larger groups, so be in good time on a sunny day.
