Located just off the Main Town Pier in the heart of Queenstown, The Sundeck at Attiqa is a great rooftop bar that goes by many names. Also known as 'Attiqa - Bar, Med Kitchen, Sundeck' or 'The Sundeck Rooftop Bar', all roads (or at least Mall Street) leads to this great lounge, restaurant and rooftop terrace.

With the byline 'meet early, stay late', Attiqa is open daily and comes with both a cool and cosy second floor indoor restaurant and a top floor sundeck terrace. Given the name you understand that it is a great spot for enjoying sunny al-freco drinks along with grand views of the close by Lake Wakatipu, but thanks to the outdoor fires and heaters you can also stay comfy in one of the lounge sofas well into the night.

The full-service rooftop bar offers a nice selection of classic and signature cocktails and champagne both by the glass or in bottle, while the restaurant serves Mediterranean-inspired tapas and platters of fresh seasonal food.

The Sundeck at Attiqa comes with a fun and vibrant lounge-atmosphere, usually highlighted with both live music and live DJs. Great rooftop bar in Queenstown for both some sunny and relaxing afternoon cocktails or late night outings with friends. But maybe absolute best for a visit just around sunset, watching the sun go down over the lake and behind the mountains.
