Located on top of the former Bok High School building in South Philadelphia, the Bok Bar is a seasonal rooftop bar, offering beer-garden vibes and spectacular views over the Philly skyline.
Closed for priavte events Mondays and Tuesdays, but all other days from May through September, everyone are welcome to enjoy the open-air vibes and stunning vistas.
The Bok Bar menu includes a large selection of beers, including local craft brew, some wines and some yummy bar bites, like kebab and falafel.
While the rooftop terrace is spacious and offers plenty of room, it does not take reservations. So on a sunny afternoon, try to be in good time. After 7pm, the Bok Bar is a +21 venue, except for Sunday's, when both children and dogs are welcome all day.
During the colder months, when the Bok Bar is closed, you can head to Irwin’s, located on the same floor. This inviting neighborhood restaurant comes with both indoor seating and an outdoor terrace, and here you can enjoy Mediterranean food with a twist all year long.Last updated: April 5, 2020
