After renovations, BAR Vulkan turned into MAD at BAR, but is once again BAR Vulkan, offering three different concepts throughout the year.

Located right by the Aker River in Grünerløkka, this is both a creative restaurant, a vibrant bar, and an event space, all housed in the same building. The stylish indoor lounge is open year-round, while summer (May to September) means outdoor seating by the river and, best of all, up on the spacious BAR Vulkan rooftop terrace.

Mixing dining tables, bar seats, greenery and a cool looking bar, the wooden decked terrace offers some fantastic views over the Oslo skyline.

The menu at BAR Vulkan takes its inspiration from Nordic cuisine with its own twist on the classic modern. There is also a nice selection of wine from various regions, and a cocktail menu where you can choose between classic and modern drinks.

With a vibrant and fun atmosphere, the Rooftop at BAR Vulkan is a great spot for a full day, a full night or anything in between. Come enjoy a sunny cocktail and the views, grab a casual dinner with friends, or stay the night and get loose with the music and the atmosphere.
