Guardian at the W elevates Union Square nightlife as the neighborhood’s first and only rooftop bar, perched atop the newly renovated W New York – Union Square. Designed by AvroKO and inspired by Warhol-era NYC glamour and the surrounding neighborhood, this unique rooftop destination premiered on March 30th 2026, inviting to a classic downtown vibe filled with contemporary sophistication. A retractable roof ensures year-round comfort, while shareable seating and vibrant ambiance is set to attract an upscale, social crowd from late afternoon through evening.

Food & Drinks

The menu features upscale, creative cocktails, ranging from classic to local-inspired signatures, such as the 'Union Square Spritz', 'East Side Negroni' and 'Guardian Martini'. Complemented with a sharp wine and beer selection, the drinks are paired with elevated and shareable bites created by chef John Villa, including tuna tartare, lobster rolls, and sliders.
