Highlights:

  • 7th floor
  • Re-designed
  • 360-view
  • Great ambience

Luxurious and trendy Munich rooftop bar, perched on top of the fantastic Mandarin Oriental in the heart of the old town. Recently refurbished, the rooftop used to be called China Moon, but is now just The Terrace.

New name, but the view is still the same, a magical 360-degree vista of the entire Munich.

Open during the summer months, this sleek bar and lounge mixes chic Asian touches with a Mediterranean look and feel. From the rooftop you can order Pacific bites, ranging from 'Miso Marinated Kagoshima Wagyu' to 'Spicy Lobster Salad', along with creative and hand-crafted cocktails.

The Terrace is a premium spot attracting a trendy crowd, and the prices are accordingly. But it is well worth it to enjoy the fantastic views, the great service and the vibrant yet chill-out ambience.

One of the most popular rooftop bars in Munich from this guide, so to make sure you get a table, reservations are highly recommended.
