Upside Rooftop Bar is a cozy Melbourne cocktail lounge, located above the restaurants Ichi Ni Nana and Village People Hawker Foodhall, right on the main street running through the Fitzroy area. Just two levels up, the rooftop still comes with some fantastic views over the Melbourne skyline and the Fitzroy surroundings.

The rooftop is very chic and urban in setting, with an indoor lounge largely made out of recycled wood and the terrace surrounded by exposed black brick walls and dotted with classic bar stools and neon orange cushions.

Japanese / South East Asian in inspiration, Upside rooftop is the place for creative and very well made cocktails. Go for a 'Thai Porn Star' or let one of the higly skilled bartenders decide and create something for you. There is no food at the bar, but with two restaurants below that can be quite easily fixed.

With live local DJs every weekend, Upside Rooftop Bar comes with a great vibe and is highly popular among the locals. Since the terrace is not huge, it is recommended to be in good time to catch a spot on a weekend night. During weekdays the atmosphere is a bit calmer, perfect for cosy and tasty after work drinks.
