The rooftop at the excellent AC Hotel Malaga Palacio (also known as ÀTICO Bar & Restaurant) is one of the oldest in the city, and a classic hot-spot to enjoy drinks and food with a view.
Located between Málaga Cathedral and Paseo del Parque, the 15th floor terrace is the highest in the city, which means an incredible view over the harbor, the Mediterranean Sea and the Malaga rooftops.
Equipped with both a stylish indoor restaurant with panoramic windows, and a lovely open-air terrace, one of the best things about the AC Malaga Rooftop is that it's open all day long. You can enjoy your lunch, cocktails, dinner or apertifs here. And if you stay at the hotel, there’s a refreshing and luxurious rooftop swimming pool available.
As cherry on the cake, there’s also occasional live music and flamenco shows to keep you entertained.
For a sophisticated dinner in the Mediterranean-inspired restarant, reservations are needed. But for crafted cocktails with a view out on the terrace, you will have a good chance to find a spot by just dropping by.
Do so when the Spanish Film Festival is held i Malaga every year, and you can sip cocktails among celebrities. And during the “Ferie” (folk festival) the AC Hotel terrace is the prime spot to watch the colorful spectacle with fireworks lighting up the sky.
