Skylight London rooftop bar at Tobacco Dock is an adult playground with great views of the London skyline. This old carpark now holds a three level indoor / outdoor rooftop bar where you during summer can play a game of croquet, petanque or table tennis, as well as watch the major sport events on large screens.

Some late summer nights are also dedicated to rooftop parties with different DJ collectives raising the atmosphere closer to the sky.

Along with all the playing and events there is also great street food and a wide range of cocktails, beers and wines served at different stalls throughout the rooftop. The feel and the look of the rooftop is kind of a classic British garden party, in a modern suit.

In between the games and the fun you can kick back in one of the opulent day beds or lush garden booths. And while walk-ins are more than welcome at Skylight Tobacco Dock, the beds and boths need to be booked in advance.

One of the best London rooftop bars for some summer daytime or evening fun, but the season also continues long after the warmer months. When winter is coming, Skylight brings out the cosy rooftop igloos, as well as Europe’s only rooftop skating rink with real ice. Along with warming wintry cocktails, beers, ciders and restorative mulled wine, this is the perfect setting for a Christmas party.
