The rooftop Bar Elba is named after the Mediterranean island where Napoleon was exiled. But apart from the motto 'liberté, egalité, rosé', there is not that much real connection to Napoleon or the Mediterranean. But this rooftop in Waterloo is well worth a visit anyway.
The terrace is decorated in what seems to be the latest rooftop trend, with a large wooden deck and lots of community tables. No table service, so head up to the bar yourself and get some beer, Frosé, Aperol Spritz or other summerish drink available on the menu.
Or why not a jug of 'Sex On The Elban Beach' for the whole table? For the hungry ones there are flatbreads, poké bowls and juicy burgers from Dip & Flip.
From the rooftop terrace you get great views over Waterloo with the skyline as backdrop. For lots of sunlight and great deals, visit during happy hour between 4pm-6pm from Sunday to Wednesday.
Quite a popular spot, especially with the hip and a bit younger crowd, so booking in advance is recommended.
Bar Elba rooftop is also covered and cosy during the colder months, so open for colorful and fun visits year round. Or as the bar themselves put it: "God vibes only".
