Topo is a chic, trendy and unpretentious place among the Lisbon rooftop bars, and somewhat a hidden gem, located on the 6th floor of a multiethnic commercial center, right next to Martim Moniz Plaza.
Up here you get lovely views over the city, from São Jorge Castle and Mouraria, to the viewpoints of Graça and Senhora do Monte.
With a glass-hut indoor space where a long wood counter acts as both dining table and cocktail bar, and an outdoor terrace with multi-level wooden boxes working as seating areas, Topo is both a rooftop restaurant and bar. Ideal for many settings, like after work, late dinners or evening cocktails.
Mainly known for their premium cocktails (signature / classics / large selection of gin), Topo also serve glodbal food of very good class. Choose between starters like Squid TOPO or Tuna tartar, and mains like a Burger on traditional Portuguese bread, Grilled sirlion steak or a vegetarian Barley risotto.
Topo is a popular place, both among locals and tourists, so for dinner, reservations are highly recommended. The bar works on a first come, first served basis, so for cocktails you just show up and enjoy the trendy crowd, the vibrant atmosphere and the funky music playing into the late hours.
