Located in an historic building between Bairro Alto and Chiado, the fantastic Bairro Alto Hotel has recently had some major renovations, but is now back in full swing. And best of all: back with an even better rooftop bar and restaurant than before.

Called BAHR & Terrace (BAHR stands for Barrio Alto Hotel Restaurant), this 5th floor rooftop venue is a modern and bohemian space. The indoor dining room with open kitchen is beautiful in itself, leading out to an open-air terrace with (maybe) even more beautiful views over Tejo River and the Lisbon rooftops.

Stylish and sophisticated, yet with a relaxing and friendly atmosphere, BAHR & Terrace offers some of Lisbon's best cuisine. Created by Michelin Star Chef Nuno Mendes, here you can enjoy the best of Portuguese dishes, uniquely presented and with influences from all over the world.

While the outdoor rooftop terrace is a perfect spot for some well-made pre- or post dinner cocktails, it also has its own food menu with seasonal light dishes. In addition, it also serves a fantastic weekend rooftop brunch with a view.

Open from early morning to midnight, you can visit BAHR rooftop for a full and fantastic breakfast, lunch, weekend brunch or dinner. Or you head up to the rooftop terrace for a drink and some bites, either in the sun or to a fantastic sunset.
