Found on Main Street in downtown Houston, Captain Foxheart's Bad News Bar & Spirit Lodge is a comfy and classy bar, with a love for authentic cocktails.

A bit tricky to find as the entrance is unmarked, you have to look for The Nightingale Room on street level, and head up the stairs through the entrance next door. Up on the second floor you step into a classy and quite dark saloon, leading out to a much more open-air terrace. Quite small, and more of a rooftop balcony, this is still a great spot to enojy breezy views over the action on Main Street.

Focusing on serving the best of crafts, Bad News Bar offers a small menu of craft beers, but what you really want to try is one of the cocktails. From classics like a Manhattan and Old Fashioned made to perfection, to more creative originals by the skilled bartenders.

Open nightly, Captain Foxheart's Bad News Bar & Spirit Lodge does not take reservations, they do not have a TV and they do not serve food. This is a place to enjoy conversations and the best of drinks, sprinkled with a bit of al fresco views at the terrace.
