El Cocinero

Multi-level Cuban restaurant, terrace and lounge.

Set in an old refurbished cooking oil factory on the banks of the Almendares river, between the neighborhoods of Vedado and Miramar, El Cocinero is a contemporary and quite unique Havana venue.

Set over several levels, the full name is El Cocinero Restaurant, Terraza & Lounge, and here you find both indoor and outdoor spaces for dining and drinking. The prime spot is of course the top floor terrace, where plenty of lush greenery meets charming string lights.

Aiming to to redefine the culinary experience in Cuba, El Cocinero serves a carefully though-out menu that adapts selected world recipes, made with organic, fresh and distinctive Cuban ingredients.

The food is complemented with a wide selection of spirits, wine and refreshing cocktails, from strawberry daiquiris to a fine cosmopolitan.

Open daily from mid day to midnight, you can visit El Cocinero and just enjoy sunny and relaxing hours with drinks in the comfy loungers, or for a special occasion dinner. For the later, reservations are recommended.
