Found in Beacon Park in downtown Detroit, Lumen is a chic and beautiful restaurant and bar, offering both a stylish and bright indoor dining room, as well as outdoor seating on street level and up on the rooftop.

The 45-seat rooftop terrace might only be two floors up, but it still comes with some fantastic 360-degree views over downtown Detroit, the Grand Army of the Republic Building and Beacon Park.

Lumen Detroit serves a menu filled with contemporary American cuisine, including everything from soups and salads to Pie Mussels and Michigan Pork Chop. The drink selection is beer friendly, but there is also a fine array of wines and creative signature cocktails.

A great venue to gather with friends for some fine and sunny rooftop drinks, bites and views during the warmer season (if you are lucky there might also be a concert in the park). But Lumen is also available during the colder months. Indoors, of course, but also outside with some very cosy igloos on the street level patio.
