This multi-level rooftop comes equipped with 30 tons of white sandy beach, 150 beach loungers, comfy beach huts and plenty of palm trees. If it wasn't for the panoramic views over Cologne, you might think you were somewhere closer to the Caribbean.
Open during the summer season, SonnenscheinEtage is the perfect spot to chill out in the sun and get away from the hectic buzz below. With your feet in the sand you can enjoy refreshing drinks and spritzers, all sorts of beers, as well as summerish bar bites.
Admission to the no-reservations rooftop is 5 euros, and the open-air venue is highly dependent on the weather. If the weather is perfect, the rooftop sometimes open earlier, but if the weather is bad, they may close earlier.
