Located in the South Loop, 22 floors above the bustling McCormick Place, VU Rooftop Bar offers an impressive Chicago rooftop setting, and the 13,000-square-foot rooftop bar (or concept, as they call it) has a lot to offer.

Up here you find a stylish indoor lounge, two rooftop terraces, three bars and some amazing and panoramic views over both the city skyline and Lake Michigan.

Swanky, modern and spacious, the rooftop lounge is equipped with equally comfy bar stools and lounge sofas, set by cool fire-pit-tables, creating that extra golden touch.

From the rooftop bar(s) you can enjoy a locally driven beverage program, including handcrafted and unique cocktails, as well as wine, bubbles and craft beers.

Chef Karim Suriel also offers a wide range of dishes, served as generous portions perfect to share during evenings, and usually as rooftop brunch during the weekends.

Head high above the South Loop and enjoy relaxing lounge vibes and happy hour 4-6pm on weekdays, or later at night and weekends for a more vibrant atmosphere. Just note that this is an upscale entertainment destination, and the Vu Rooftop Bar dress code is business causal.

Open and available year round, thanks to both the indoor lounge and some cool rooftop igloos during the colder months, the VU Rooftop Bar also holds several spaces available for private events. Including a karaoke room.
