- 18th floor
- Handcrafted cocktails
- Panoramic views
On the 18th floor of the modern Raffaello Hotel you find drumBAR, which is a classy Chicago rooftop bar. Location is quite perfect, right next to the John Hancock Center and just a few minutes away from Lake Michigan and the beach.
With a speakeasy style, this cocktail-focused rooftop bar has a year round old fashion indoor lounge with rustic setting and dark leather sofas. Then during the summer months, the rooftop terrace is open, offering a completely different feel. Greenery, white lounge chairs, fire pits and panoramic views over the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan.
The rooftop bar does not offer any food, but instead a quite impressive drink menu. An endless selection of whiskey and scotch is accompanied with well made specialty cocktails and a large selection of beers and wines. And if you have a hard time to make your pick, the skilled bartenders will happily help you.
Popular rooftop, so come early or make reservations to enjoy more relaxing cocktails and happy hour (Thu-Fri, 5-7pm). Later at night drumBAR usually can get crowded and offer quite a high vibe, with live DJs creating that extra buzz on weekends.
Oh, and for ultimate relaxation you should check out the rooftop yoga beeing held at the terrace during summer.
