Set 19 floors up, on top of the amazing Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel, Merchant & Trade is a swanky rooftop bar and lounge, offering expertly-crafted cocktails, social bites and lovely views.

Divided into four different zones (indoor bar / outdoor terrace / private terrace / the lawn), the rooftop is very stylish and modern throughout, with a sleek bar, comfy lounge furniture and cosy fire-pits. And views, panoramic ones over Uptown Charlotte, both from the outdoor terrace and through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

During the colder season, the outdoor terrace is also equipped with some really cosy rooftop igloos.

High above the Queen City you can indulge in a wide range of carefully curated cocktails, from seasonal specialties to Merchant & Trade classics. Or try one of the local Chralotte-brews on tap.

Paired with the drinks, Executive Chef Robert Hoffman offers a tasty array of elevated bar bites, like small plates of Hand-Cut Beef Tartare, or a more filling Roast Salmon.

Filled with a sophisticated yet vibrant lounge vibe, Merchant & Trade rooftop bar is a great venue for a stylish weekday after work, or a weekend night out, when local DJs raise the atmosphere even more.

Note that the Kimpton Charlotte rooftop is a first come, first served venue, and also highly popular, so try to be in good time and prepare for a bit of waiting at the elevator up.
