Set in an a historical building in the heart of Budapest, the boutique Hotel Rum Budapest comes with a fantastic rooftop wine bar, much more modern than the building its perched on top of.

The rooftop space used to be home to TOPRUM SkyBar & Restaurant, but during the summer of 2021 it transformed into SOLID Budapest. But just like before, the top floor is available all year-round. A retractable roof and panorama glass wall keeps everyone warm and cosy during winter, and opens for drinks and bites under the sky during summer.

Set seven floors above Old Town Budpaest, the sleek yet lush rooftop offers some great views over the most historical parts of the city, including Gellért Hill and the University Square church.

Being a rooftop wine bar, it is no surprise that wines play a major role in the SOLID concept. Here you can enjoy a wide selection of natural and biodynamic wines, with bottles from the best vineyards in Europe and Hungary.

The rooftop is also closely linked with the Michelin starred fine dining restaurant SALT, found on the ground floor of the hotel. So expect bites and dishes with Hungarian flavors and of the highest quality.

The rooftop wine bar and restaurants is open to all most nights of the week, but also for daily breakfast and weekend brunch with a view.
