Facing Margate Beach on the Redcliffe Peninsula, found north of downtown Brisbane, the fantastic hotel The Sebel comes with a rooftop bar that is somewhat a hidden gem.

This used to mostly be a space where guests staying at the hotel could enjoy views and dips in the rooftop pool, but it is now part of Sunny’s Bistro Restaurant, Cafe & Rooftop Bar, which is available to all.

The downstairs café and restaurant is open 7 days a week, while Sunny’s Rooftop is open for walk-in’s from 3pm on Fridays, and from 12pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with live music every Friday night and Sunday afternoon.

The perfect spot for afternoon or sunset drinks after a day on the beach (or a day spent anywhere actually), the rooftop terrace comes with comfy lounge sofas, greenery and breathtaking views over Moreton Bay.
