Namned after its altitude above sea level, the seasonal 173 Rooftop Terrace is perched on top of the excellent hotel InterContinental Barcelona in Montjuïc.

Seven floors up, the rooftop terrace offers an amazing 360° view over Barcelona. The vistas are actually some of the best in all of Barcelona, and here you can see everything from the Torre de Collserola and the Tibidabo to the Montjuïc cable car, the Sagrada Familia, Plaza España and the Palacio Nacional.

First opened back in 2017, and renovated for the 2026 season, the charming and spacious terrace is stylish in setting, and comes with both restaurant area, lounge area and a fantastic rooftop pool. The pool is exclusive to guests at the hotel or anyone booking a day pass, but the rooftop bar and restaurant is free and open to all.

Here you can enjoy authentic Mediterranean sharing-style dishes as lunch, dinner or nightly snacks, as well as a carefully selected drink menu, including classic and signature cocktail creations and a wide array of Gin.

Terraza 173 usually comes with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, perfect to just sit back with some good company and enjoy the views. But the summer season also means live music performances 3 times per week, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
