The amazing and 5-star 137 Pillars Suites & Residences offers quite a large slice of Bangkok rooftop-heaven, right in the heart of the upscale Phrom Phong area.
To get the very best experience, you should book one of the luxurious suites at the hotel. This will give you access to the fantastic 27th floor infinity pool (open to all hotel guests), but even more so, exclusive use of the top floor 360° pool and lounge terrace. With sweeping views over Bangkok and infinity edges in 3 directions, is is one of the best rooftop pools in the world.
As a guest at the hotel, you can also enjoy private rooftop dining from morning to late night. But there are also some great options for those not staying at the hotel.
On the 27th floor, next to one of the infinity pools, you find Pool Bar, a perfect place to escape and unwind from the vibrant pace of the city. Surrounded with panoramic skyline views, here everyone can enjoy light refreshments, fine wine & champagne, mixology signature cocktails, as well as culinary bites.
Next door is the fine-dining rooftop restaurant Nimitr, meaning 'Special Dream' in Thai. Serving elegant Asian-inspired dishes, the restaurant offers a beautiful and intimate indoor setting, but also offers seats on the outdoor terrace.
So, while booking a stay at 137 Pillars Suites is highly recommended, it is also well worth visiting the rooftop bar and restaurant as an outside guest. So far, quite undiscovered gems, offering a relaxing, urban and intimate setting that can be hard to find among the Bangkok rooftops.
