Ostro, located at the second level of the Seafarers Building, comes with a dual setting. The lower floor is dedicated to the Ostro Brasserie & Bar, a stylish and airy restaurant, where you can indulge in classic bistro-style comfort food, created by head chef Josh Shields.

Here you are surrounded with fantastic views out towards Devonport across Auckland harbour, either through the huge glass doors, or out on the long balcony that seats tables of two.

One level up is The Deck at Ostro (or just Ostro Deck), a stylish and trendy rooftop bar with a large and lovely balcony terrace. Up here the ocean views are swapped for grand views of the city skyline and food comes more as delicious bar bites, like oysters or a seafood platter to share.

Usually open daily from noon to late at night during the warmer season, The Deck is always a great destination to visit for fantastic cocktails and trendy vibes. The terrace is also equipped with fire-pits to keep you warm even on colder nights.
