Located in the top of a futuristic glass tower, set in the Kalverpassage shopping centre, Blue Amsterdam invites to a comfortable and informal experience above the city centre.

Covering two floors, the modern rooftop is all interior, but there are floor-to-ceiling windows all around, creating an open, bright and airy feel. Through the windows, you get some truly amazing 360° view over Amsterdam, including the Rijksmuseum, Munttoren, Westerkerk, Central Station, Royal Palace and the flower market.

Open seven days a week for coffee, breakfast, lunch, early dinner, snacks, cakes, local beers, wines and cocktails, Blue Amsterdam is an elevated daytime hot-spot to escape the buzz of central Amsterdam.

The colorful rooftop menu is inspired by the diversity of the city, and features all day breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, salads and soups, as well as creative cocktails and home made drinks.

Filled with a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, Blue Amsterdam is mainly a walk-in venue. So just take the glass elevator up for a nice lunch with a view, a break during shopping, or some chill sunset drinks. Best of all, you can visit all year round.
