Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong is always a must visit for us when in Hong Kong, where we always do their Sunday Dom Perignon Brunch at Ozone Rooftop Bar. But this time we also decided to stay here for 2 nights to get a complete picture of the hotel and rooftop areas. Ritz Carlton Hong Kong is located at West Kowloon in the financial district overlooking the beautiful Victoria Harbor.
Wow! That’s our first word when describing this place. Right after jumping in our slippers and bathrobes, we headed up to the spa to get some relaxation. The spa is located on the 117th floor on a dazzling height of almost 480 meters. Do I need to tell you that the view from here is spectacular. Sweeping skyline views over Hong Kong Island and its famous skyline.
The atmosphere in the spa is relaxed and harmonious. And newer over crowded. They have a large infinity pool and two smaller Jacuzzis to relax in. And if your tired of being in the water, you can just slide down in one of the many lounge furniture’s or sun loungers that are scattered throughout the area.
This is the world’s highest hotel and all rooms here are located between the 102th floor to the 118th floor. You can figure out by yourself that all rooms have lovely views. Ask for a room with Victoria Harbor views if you want a spectacular venue in front of your eyes.
You can choose from many different room types here. Everything from the fancy suites to a regular room. The regular rooms are however not that regular. In many other hotels they would be considered as suites. The smallest room is 51 square meters and have a large bathroom and big windows. And of course, super luxurious in every aspect.
Ozone Rooftop Bar is the world’s highest bar at an impressive height of 480 meters. When entering the terrace, you feel like you’re on top of the world. 180-degree panoramic views over Hong Kong island and the Victoria Harbor. Both beautiful and spectacular at the same time.
Our favorite thing to do here is the Sunday Dom Perignon brunch. More about that here. Free flow of Champagne and top-notch food for 3 hours. A true wow-experience. During evenings there are live DJs making sure that the party vibe is on top throughout the whole night. Make sure to dress for success to blend in here.
Just like with many other Ritz Carlton hotels, the service in Hong Kong is fantastic. Everyone is super polite, and you always feel welcome where ever you go. The same goes for all restaurants that belongs to the hotel. This is how service should be like everywhere.
Amazing is a word that describes Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong very well. In this goes for both the rooms, spa, rooftop and service. And the fact that you are staying at the world’s highest hotel also makes you feel special.
