We spent 2 days at this new and hip hotel located at one of the best addresses in Madrid. BLESS Hotel Madrid offers both a luxurious stay and a fantastic experience regarding the rooftop and other bars. This 5-star boutique hotel has everything one can ask for from a great city hotel. Here’s our review:
When stepping out from the elevator on the 8th floor, you’re meet by spectacular panoramic views over the Madrid skyline. Absolutely beautiful. This modern and natural space is really the place to be on a sunny day. The terrace is equipped with sun loungers, sofas, silky Balinese beds and a luxurious and refreshing emerald rooftop pool. The rooftop pool is open daily from 11am to 8pm. For guests staying at the hotel it’s free of charge, but you also book your spot as an outside guest. The Balinese beds are the ones available for this.
Otherwise, the Picos Pardos Sky Lounge is open to all. The rooftop bar offers premium drinks and well-made signature cocktails. A popular and famous one is the 'Bless Colada'. And if you rather drink wine, there’s a great menu for that as well. For the hungry ones, there’s also a fresh and exciting food menu, created by the 10-time Michelin-awarded chef Martín Berasategui. You can have both your lunch and dinner up here. And if you rather eat some snacks, there are many options for that to. The menu ranges from ceviche, carpaccio or tartare to caviar and selections from the Japanese grill.
First, I must say that there are few things that’s better than a five-star boutique hotel when speaking of accommodation. Bless Hotel Madrid is one of those hotels that you fall in love with from the moment you set your foot in the lobby. Every little detail here is well thought of.
This applies on the rooms as well. The bed, TV, bathrobes etc are superb. And not to speak about the lovely bathrooms. Wow! We could stay in the rooms for several hours just by the fact how nice everything is here. Bless Hotel Madrid truly is one of those hotels that you can spend 2 days at without leaving the hotel. That’s very rare when speaking of big city hotels.
The breakfast is fantastic. Fresh, tasty and in a harmonious atmosphere. If you like to hang out in bar environments, there are 3 great bars available. The basement bar with its own bowling course, the lobby bar (which is semi open on the streets during warmer days) and of course the rooftop bar. And last but not least, the Michelin Starred restaurant called Etxeko which is a great choice for any epicurean.
If we where about to recommend one hotel in Madrid, Bless Hotel would be the given answer. This hotel has everything you can ask for when speaking of luxury, service, bars, rooftop and gastronomy. And if you like rooftop swimming pools, you can find one of the best in Madrid at Picos Pardos Sky Lounge.
