With its futuristic, chic and sleek décor, Blue Sky is made for special occasions. Location away from where you find most other Bangkok rooftops makes it feel a bit like a hidden gem and a different experience. Definitely worth the trip, nor matter if you come for elevated didning, sips with a view, or a mix of both.

Set over two floors, SEEN is an upscale, tropical and stylish rooftop bar and restaurant, floating high above the Chao Phraya. Part of the AVANI Riverside Bangkok Hotel, the rooftop offers amazing views over the Bangkok skyline and the Chao Phraya river.

What we think

SEEN is the place to go for the very best river view in Bangkok. But offering a lot more than just grand views, the food and drinks is both bold and of the highest class. The rooftop also turned even more impressive when the open-air 27th floor rooftop turnded into SIN during late 2024.

What we think

Serving Thai flavours, Bangkok Heightz is actually a breath of fresh air from the more common international and fusion selections served at rooftops. Filled with a cosy, sophisticated and friendly vibe, the rooftop is great for a nice dinner, but also for chill-out cocktail with views and vibrant weekend vibes with live DJs. The only downside is that the terrace is semi-open, so you don't get the total sky bar-feel. But on the other hand you are well covered if the rain should hit, and more than 100 meters up, the open walls are more than enough to showcase some sublime views.

This is one of the world’s highest alfresco champagne bars, perched on the 59th of the 5-star Centara Grand At Centralworld, a couple of floors above the famous rooftop bar and rooftop restaurant Red Sky.

What we think

Offering absolutely magical 360° views over all of Bangkok, the glowing bar at CRU is one of the coolest spot to take in the city from above. Surrounded by a 'wow-feeling', the sips will not be cheap, but you will probably have a memory for life. Also note that CRU works on a first come first serve basis.

Covering the top three floors of the amazing Park Hyatt Bangkok in the heart of the city, Penthouse Bar + Grill is truly a multifaceted and elevated dining and drinking destination. Featuring five unique venues, all lead up to the top floor alfresco Rooftop Bar.

What we think

Designed as an elegant outdoor garden, the rooftop terrace comes with plenty of comfy lounge spots where you are surrounded with lush greenery and amazing views spanning over the glittering Bangkok skyline. Gather with friends for jazzy and upscale NYC-vibes, or make it your stop for pre- or post dinner drinks after a meal at The Grill below.

Close to Lumphini Park, on top of the fantastic Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, Bar.Yard offers a lush, tropical and vibrant rooftop experience, just underneath the clouds of Bangkok.

What we think

Not as famous as some other Bangkok rooftops, Bar.Yard really is an elevated gem for evenings where views, flavors, vibes and views merge. The rooftop pulses with Afro House beats, and you can visit for some sunset sips, a casual-elevated dinner experience, or a full night filled with fun, surrounded with amazing views over the Bangkok skyline.
