With both a 7th floor lounge and an 8th floor rooftop terrace and bar, Heaven Rooftop Bar & Lounge is a spacious hidden gem in the heart of Bangkok. Found on Silom Road, the venue is surrounded by some of the most high-end rooftop venues in the city, so it's really an affordable option on a prime location. Offering cool views over the city skyscrapers, the most unique feature in terms of vistas is that this rooftop is one of the best places to gaze at the impressive King Power Mahanakhon building. Add plenty of live bands and DJs, and you are all set for elevated vibes.
The Heaven Rooftop Bar & Lounge menu features signature cocktails and crafted classics, shots and rainbow bomb sets, plenty of beers and spirits, smoothies, and a fine array of Thai dishes.
Classic cocktails start at ฿220, while signatures are ฿300. A glass of local draft beer cost ฿120, and bottles ฿160. Expect a dish to be about ฿250.
Located in the Old Town district of Bangkok, close to both The Grand Palace and Khao San Road, Swing Bar is perched on the top and 6th floor of the lovely ChingCha Bangkok hostel. While Ching Cha means "swing" in Thai, the rooftop bar is also named after its magnificent view over The Giant Swing. You can also enjoy panoramics over old town and the buddhist temple Wat Suthat Thepwararam, one of the hidden gems in the heritage area of Bangkok. Charming and playful, and filled with a friendly atmopshere, Swing Bar is a fantastic and affordable Bangkok rooftop bar for some truly relaxing drinks and bites.
Open nightly, the rooftop bar serves an impressive seletion of local and international craft beer, along with signature cocktails, mocktails and a variation of Thai and International dishes.

Perched on the 17th floor of Grand China Bangkok, at the intersection of Ratchawong and Yaowarat Roads, GenZ Bar & Bistro invites to a charming and elevated Chinatown setting. Part interior bar, and part colorful and graffiti-covered terrace with bean bags and bar stools, here you are surrounded by amazing views over Bangkok, including Chinatown’s glowing lights and the Chao Phraya River. Open from mid day, the rooftop really sparkles at night, with great music and chill-out vibes.

While not cheap, this is still a wallet-friendly option given the setting.
There's a full bar menu with a wide range of favorite cocktails and a few signatures, as well as beer, wine, spirits, juices, and both Thai and International dishes.

Expect cocktails starting at ฿200, and a glass of beer from ฿150. For the best deals, visit during happy hours from 5-8pm, when selected cocktails are 2 for ฿250.
Neighboor with sky-high venues like Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar and Tichuca Rooftop Bar, Tt Rooftop Bar offers a more affordable (and more grounded) option, right next to BTS Thon Lor Station. With a second florr café, the urban charming and relaxed rooftop bar is set on the 4th floor, overlooking the passing BTS trains, and the majestic high-rises. Open from afternoon, you can expect chill-out tunes and a social atmosphere, perfect for fun outings with friends.
The bar menu includes a full selection classic cocktails, beers on both bottle and tap, a nice selection of wines, as well as snacks and more filling bites.
While a few cocktails are ฿250, most are between ฿290-330, and a pint of Singha is ฿160. For really great prices, you need to visit during the 4-7pm happy hour, when cocktails are ฿190.
Described as a playground for adults, YABAR Secret Bar & Rooftop is a hidden secret crafted cocktail bar in Soi Rambuttri near Khaosan Road. Find the Olive Kitchen, and from there, a secret door will lead you up to a truly creative rooftop, where views are not as important as atmosphere. Expect Karaoke, Giant Jenga, fun vibes, friendly service, and a slide taking you down when you are finished.
Here you can enjoy fantastic, highly creative and large size cocktails, as well as classics, local beers on tap and great pizza.
The signature cocktails are great but also more pricey, at ฿350-400. Classic cocktails are much more affordable, with a Long Island at ฿169 and other options starting at ฿240. A jumbo glass (610ml) of Singha is ฿160.
The rooftop at the top of the Jam Hostel is hip, modern, cheap and cozy. In other words, a perfect affordable sky bar Bangkok. Perched five floors up and within walking distance from Khao San Road, the rooftop terrace comes with a fake-grass lawn, comfy cushion-floor seating and cool views over the Old City rooftops and landmarks. To reach the rooftop you have to take a really old elevator, which is an experience in itself. When you finally reach the top you can expect a local, relaxing and comfy atmosphere.
Expect Thai food and a full bar, and every Tuesday evening a highly social community dinner.
