Hiltl is actually the world's oldest vegetarian restaurant, and can be found at various locations around Zurich. Since 2015 also above the PKZ Women in the city center, where the cosy and charming Hiltl Dachterrasse offer not one, but two lovely rooftop terraces.
Modern, green and lush, the roof gardens gives you a beautiful view over the busy Bahnhofstrasse and the surroundings.
Take the glass lift elevator on Beatengasse for direct access to the third floor café, bar and restaurant. Here you can enjoy healthy and great vegetarian food, fine coffee and tea specialties along with a large selection of fresh and tasty cocktails. Either in the fresh and bright indoor restaurant, or (preferably) al-fresco on one of the lovely terraces.
Open from morning to around midnight, Hiltl Dachterrasse is truly a green oasis in the heart of the city. Relaxed, stylish and cosy in ambience, combined with a very friendly service, it is a great Zurich rooftop bar for a lunch break in a day of shopping / sightseeing or just some chill-out cocktails with a group of friends.
