VUE Bar is an elegant and stylish roof bar in Shanghai, occupying the 32nd and 33rd floor of the western tower at the five star Hyatt on the Bund.

The hotel's location, at the top bend of the Huangpu River, gives both unique and absolutely amazing views of both the ultra modern Pudong skyline as well as the historic buildings on the Bund side.

Spreading over two levels, VUE Bar is a big place. And while there are lots of seatings inside the more rustic main bar, offering floor-to-ceiling windows, the open rooftop terrace is not that big.

But what is lacking in space is made up for with decor. Or how about large and comfy daybeds and a rooftop marble jacuzzi? Perfect for relaxation with grand views.

The rooftop bar offers a wide selection of wines and champagnes, beers, and premium spirits. And they are also known for making some real mean cocktails, from classics to Strawbellini and the signature VUE Martini.

The atmosphere at VUE Bar is usually sophisticated and on top, with live DJs spining records and a mix of local and foreign visitors. Popular place, so on weekends reservations are recommended just to get a place anywhere, and even more so to get a hold of one of the daybeds at the terrace. Usually there is a RMB 100 cover charge to get in, but then a drink is also included.
