Restoran Caruso is an upscale rooftop restaurant, located on the 8th floor in downtown Belgrade, just above Terazije. Not super easy to find, but well worth the search.

Named after the opera singer Enrico Caruso, the restaurant serves Mediterranean, domestic dishes and dishes of Balkan cuisine, along with a fine selection of wines, spirits and some beers.

With both interior and more airy seating, the food and drinks are (of course) best enjoyed by the retractable panoramic windows, where you get a magical view of Belgrade's skyline and rooftops. Complemented with friendly service, great ambience and quite often live music, Caruso is a great Belgrade rooftop for an elevated experience.

Usually open from breakfast to late at night, the very best time to come here is probably around sunset. Watching the sun go down behind the Belgrade skyline and then see as the city lights up is something special, and a perfect setting for a romantic dinner.

Restoran Caruso is a popular venue, so reservations are recommended, and note that the dress code is smart casual (no shorts, gentlemen).
